Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Set Review and Swatches

Do you love lip balm? Do you love iced coffee? Well then you’ll love this set.

Summer Fridays has released a trio of their Lip Butter Balms just in time for the holidays. The set features their Lip Butter Balm in shades Vanilla and Cherry, and the new set-exclusive shade Iced Coffee. It’s also a great value at $64 cad, you get 3 balms for the price of 2, plus a sample of their cult favourite Jet Lag mask.

If you haven’t tried this lip balm yet, it’s phenomenal. I love that it gives a shine and tint (except for Vanilla) to the lips, yet is so nourishing and hydrating. It’s like a lip balm and lip gloss in one, it’s perfect for those days you don’t want to wear lipstick but want something a little extra to make you feel put-together. With shea and murumuru seed butters and vegan waxes, the balm doesn’t feel heavy or sticky and leaves your lips conditioned, smooth, and shiny.

The Lip Butter Balm Trio from Summer Fridays in Iced Coffee, Vanilla, and Cherry.

When I first tried this lip balm, It only came in vanilla and was packaged in a metal tube, similar to their Jet Lag mask. I am so glad they repackaged the lip balms into a squeeze tube with an applicator for easier application and less wasted product as the metal tubes tended to leak out more balm than you needed. That is definitely one thing I love about Summer Fridays – they always listen to customer feedback and will reformulate or repackage to suit what the users want!

I’ll be honest, the Iced Coffee balm is what drew me to this set, but I am so glad I went for it because I was able to get the repackaged original vanilla and the cherry too, which I’ve had my eye on. Cherry was my favourite version of Glossier’s Balm Dot Com, and I’ve been trying to find an adequate replacement ever since they stopped making it. If you’re also looking to fill the cherry bdc-shaped void in your heart, look no further.

Each balm in the set has a unique scent and tint:
Vanilla: This balm has no tint and smells like an ice cream cone
Cherry: This balm has a bright red tint and smells like cherry slushie
Iced Coffee: This balm has a tawny beige tint and smells like an iced caramel macchiato

Overall, this set is an incredible value for a must have product. It comes in a nice box that would make a great gift, or you can gift the full-sized balms individually as stocking stuffers. At $64 cad you are getting one of the balms for free! Are you picking this up?
