Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peeling Masque Review

I’ve been trying out the Amore Pacific Treatment Peeling Enzyme Masque thanks to Topbox and Amore Pacific. It was sent to me complementary for review purposes.

AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Masque Review

It is an exfoliating mask with 0.7% Glycolic Acid and 0.6% sodium lactate to improve the skin’s clarity and texture. It has a very interesting powder-in-gel texture that turns into a cream as you rub it onto the skin.

Review of the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Mask

It is gentle and doesn’t tingle or leave the skin with any redness. I like that it’s quick and easy to use, with a suggested masking time of only 5 minutes. My skin does feel really soft the mornings after I use it, but I haven’t noticed any dramatic results.

I don’t like how fragranced this product is. I would avoid it if you are sensitive to fragrances. It has a very strong scent that reminds me of the Ralph by Ralph Lauren perfume I used to wear in middle school. To me, this added fragrance is unnecessary, and can be very sensitizing to the skin, especially in a product that contains a chemical exfoliant.

AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Mask Review

This mask is $82 CAD for 80 ml. At that price tag, I can’t see myself repurchasing this one. I’m not wowed by it. I have many serums that have a higher acid concentration than this one. I think it would be good for someone who is not used to exfoliating acids, as its a gentle mask and a good place to start!

Do you use acids in your skincare routine?
